National Philanthropy - The American Red Cross

Through the strategic plan of the Fraternity, Delta Sigma Phi aims to be the largest single donor of pints of blood, "sweat equity" through community service and philanthropic donations to the American Red Cross by 2025. Blood, Sweat & Cash was developed as a national initiative to envelope the Fraternity's efforts for the American Red Cross. The support turned into a recognized partnership in 2013, the same year the Fraternity developed its "Blood, Sweat & Cash Award" for chapters dedicating outstanding service to Red Cross chapters and national efforts.

National Red Cross Month

National Red Cross month takes place in the month of March. Through fraternity initiatives, Delta Sigma Phi focuses its efforts on supporting our local chapter of the Red Cross and the national organization. March is one of our busiest times for service and our chapter goes above and beyond for Red Cross.

Delta Sig Wiffle Ball Tournament

Held annually in March, the Delta Sig Wiffle Ball tournament is the primary philanthropy event for the Eta Chi chapter. Teams from the greek, campus and local communities gather for friendly competition and to support Delta Sig's efforts to the Red Cross.

Campus and Community Involvement

Delta Sig is always involved in on and off campus community service. While it is the aim of Delta Sig to leave a lasting, positive impact on the lives of others, the Eta Chi chapter strives to give as much as possible to as many as possible. Most recently, the Eta Chi chapter collected 553 cans of food for The Hungry Games Food Drive.
